ACME STICKERS · LEGAL

Terms of service

These terms govern use of the Acme Stickers website and orders for custom sticker production using customer-supplied artwork.
Last updated September 22, 2026

1. Agreement and eligibility

By accessing the website, creating an account, submitting artwork, approving a proof, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked from them. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding agreement. If you act for a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

2. The service

Acme provides custom sticker printing, cutting, proofing, bulk production, packing, and shipping. Customers choose a product type, dimensions, and quantity and provide the artwork to be manufactured. Acme does not acquire ownership of customer artwork merely by fulfilling an order.

Product availability, production methods, materials, turnaround estimates, and order limits may change. Acme may refuse or cancel an order because of production capacity, suspected fraud, safety concerns, pricing errors, prohibited content, or a reasonable belief that fulfilling the order would violate law or another person’s rights. If Acme cancels an accepted paid order without producing it, Acme will refund the amount paid for that order.

3. Pricing, payment, and taxes

Displayed prices are based on the selected product, dimensions, and production quantity. Custom-size and custom-quantity pricing may be calculated from Acme’s current pricing rules. Displayed prices exclude tax. Acme collects Texas state and local sales tax at 8.25% on taxable orders, shown as a separate line at checkout before you pay. Acme sells and ships within Texas only at present, and does not charge for expedited services.

For eligible payment methods, checkout authorizes the displayed order total but Acme does not capture the funds until you approve every required proof. Your bank may still display the authorization as a temporary pending hold, and your bank controls when a canceled or expired hold disappears. If an authorization expires, a proof revision changes the price, or the payment cannot be captured, Acme may require renewed payment authorization before production.

An order is not accepted for production until the required proofs are approved, payment is successfully captured, and Acme confirms acceptance. Acme may correct an obvious pricing, description, or calculation error before acceptance. Acme will disclose a corrected total and request authorization rather than capturing more than the amount you approved. You represent that you are authorized to use the submitted payment method.

4. Artwork rights and customer responsibility

You retain your ownership rights in artwork you submit. You grant Acme a limited, non-exclusive license to receive, store, inspect, resize, convert, reproduce, print, cut, package, and otherwise use that artwork only as reasonably necessary to quote, proof, manufacture, fulfill, support, or document your order.

You represent that you own the artwork or have all permissions needed for Acme to reproduce it, and that the artwork and requested use do not violate copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contract, or other rights. You are responsible for the content you submit. Acme may request evidence of permission or reject artwork under the Artwork and IP Policy.

5. Proofs and approval

Acme will provide a digital proof before production unless an order expressly states otherwise. You are responsible for reviewing spelling, colors, layout, dimensions, quantities, cut lines, orientation, and other visible details. Approval authorizes Acme to capture the approved order total and release the order to production after payment succeeds.

Your approval authorizes production according to the approved proof. Changes, cancellation, or refunds for customer-approved details may be unavailable after production begins. Acme remains responsible for material manufacturing errors that cause the delivered order not to conform to the approved proof, subject to the Custom-order and Refund Policy.

6. Custom production and normal variation

Printed color can differ from a screen, and ordinary manufacturing can create minor variation in color, finish, cut position, dimensions, material, and appearance between pieces or reorders. Such ordinary variation is not necessarily a defect. Acme will evaluate claims based on the approved proof, the order specifications, the condition of the delivered goods, and reasonable production standards. Acme does not promise a numerical production tolerance, and none should be inferred from these terms.

7. Shipping and delivery

Production and delivery dates are estimates unless Acme expressly guarantees a date in writing. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and for additional costs caused by an incorrect address or unsuccessful delivery. Carrier delays, customs, weather, labor disruptions, emergencies, and events outside Acme’s reasonable control may delay delivery. Acme ships within Texas by United States Postal Service with tracking, at no delivery charge, and also offers collection in person at 734 W. Jefferson Blvd., Dallas, TX 75208. Acme ships approved orders within 3–5 business days of proof approval. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery by the carrier; where a shipment is lost or damaged in transit, Acme will pursue the carrier claim and put the order right under the Custom-order and Refund Policy.

8. Cancellations, refunds, and remedies

Because each order is custom-made from customer artwork, change-of-mind returns are not accepted after proof approval or production begins. Cancellation requests made before approval will be reviewed based on work already performed and costs already incurred. For a verified manufacturing error, material nonconformity, shortage, or shipping damage, Acme reprints the affected items at no charge by default, and will refund instead if you would rather have your money back. Report a problem within 14 days of delivery. An error that was visible in a proof you approved — a typo, a wrong colour choice, a misplaced element — is not a manufacturing fault, and a reprint of it is charged as a new order; this is the reason Acme records what you approved and when. Full details appear in the Custom-order and Refund Policy.

9. Accounts, reviews, and website conduct

You are responsible for accurate account information, maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials, and activity conducted through your account. You may not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit malicious code, scrape protected content in violation of law or technical restrictions, commit fraud, or use the service for unlawful purposes.

Acme does not publish customer reviews at present. If Acme turns on verified customer reviews, a customer will be able to submit a rating, written review, and optional product photo after delivery, and the rest of this section governs them. The customer must submit truthful feedback based on personal experience and must have permission to share the photo and anything shown in it. The customer retains ownership of submitted review content but grants Acme a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, resize, format, display, and distribute it for Acme’s website and related promotion until the content is removed where required by law.

If Acme offers a discount or other incentive for a review, the incentive applies to fair and honest feedback regardless of whether the review is positive or negative. Acme will clearly disclose the incentive with any published review and will not require a favorable rating. Acme may moderate, reject, or remove reviews for fraud, unlawful content, personal information, infringement, harassment, irrelevance, or violation of these Terms, but will not suppress genuine reviews merely because they are negative. Acme will not promise that every submitted review will be published.

10. Acme intellectual property

Except for customer artwork and third-party materials, the Acme name, wolf artwork, logos, website design, software, text, pricing tools, and other Acme-created materials are owned by Acme or its licensors. No ownership is transferred to you. You may use the website only for its intended ordering and account-management purposes.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website and any free preview tools are provided “as is” and “as available.” Acme disclaims implied warranties except to the extent they cannot legally be disclaimed. This paragraph does not eliminate Acme’s obligation to deliver an accepted paid order materially consistent with the approved proof and stated order specifications.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Acme will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, business, or goodwill arising from the website or an order. Acme’s aggregate liability relating to an affected order will not exceed the amount paid to Acme for that order. These limitations do not apply where applicable law prohibits them.

13. Indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Acme and its owners, employees, and contractors harmless from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from artwork or instructions you supplied, your infringement of another person’s rights, your unlawful use of the service, or your material breach of these Terms. Acme will provide reasonable notice of a covered claim and may control its defense.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts sitting in Dallas County, Texas are the venue for any dispute. Acme does not impose mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver, or a shortened statutory claim period.

15. General terms

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective to the extent allowed by law. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer an order or these Terms without Acme’s consent; Acme may transfer them as part of a merger, sale, reorganization, or transfer of the business. These Terms, the order confirmation, approved proof, and incorporated policies form the agreement for the affected service.

16. Changes and contact

Acme may update these Terms prospectively by posting a revised version and changing the “last updated” date. Material changes will not retroactively alter an already accepted order unless the customer agrees or law requires it.
